Bulletins

Garia bulletins contain important information about various technical issues. Please make sure to read all bulletins carefully and contact us if you have any further questions about any of the issues mentioned. 

There are three different kinds of bulletins:

  • Service bulletin: addresses subjects that must be checked or changed during service.
  • Policy bulletin: addresses open issues to be checked or changed upon a customer complain. Defective part will be recalled for further investigation.
  • Recall bulletin: vehicle will be recalled to the workshop and the defective part must be changed.

Policy Bulletin 15: Windshield bracket nut replacement

January 21, 2019

Garia A/S has discovered that the Windshield bracket nut holding the foldable windshield, may break.

Service Bulletin 5: 32V fuse replacement

November 5, 2018

Garia A/S has discovered a risk with the fuses F14, F15, F17.

Policy Bulletin 12: Unusual noise from Headliner

Service Bulletin 4: Installing Nord-Lock washer on gear-tubes

Garia A/S has discovered a risk of the bolts getting loose on the gear tubes.

Policy Bulletin 11: Replacing the bolts for rear seat base

October 25, 2016

Garia A/S has discovered that it has been seen that the bolt holding the 2+2 seat base is to long so under maximum load the bolts might hit the brake pipe on the rear axle.

Garia A/S has discovered that the air scoop handle can break off during driving in hard wind

Policy Bulletin 9: Transmission oil plug

Garia A/S has discovered that some cars are leaking oil from the ventilated oil plug on the transmission housing.

Policy Bulletin 8: Reinforcement of rear axle

February 13, 2013

Garia A/S has discovered that the bracket on the rear axle can break off during high speed driving on rough terrain.

A reinforcement-kit of u-bolts has been made to prevent this from happening.

influence from battery acid

Policy Bulletin 2: Pedal rubber

Garia A/S has discovered that the pedal rubber stripes on the pedals show signs of unusual wear and tear on cars used on golf courses permitting the use of steel spikes on golf shoes.

Policy Bulletin 1: Airscoop seal

Garia A/S has discovered a defect relates to the seal on the air scoop.

Vehicles affected: limited Golf Cars in Europe and in the U.S. 

Service Bulletin 2: Controller Bolts

February 15, 2012

Garia A/S has discovered a defect, which can limit the vehicle's driving ability.  The defect relates to the connections on the controller. Because the screws are too long there is a risk that the wires might get loose over time, resulting in poor connection.
