Danish Company Garia enters in to international cooperation with Mercedes-Benz. The Danish business Garia saw the light of day in 2005, and from day number one the mission was clear: to create a luxurious golf car for both the domestic and the international marked. Garia is today a global success, and have just enter into a new collaboration to create a new luxurious product.

Anders Lynge is a partner and designer for Garia, it was a coincidence that he saw Mercedes-Benz had a design competition on the go: - After we had been going for 11 years, Mercedes-Benz saw what we saw back 2005: there is room and a need in the market for luxurious golf cars. Garia entered the design competition and won; and from this the cooperation became a reality. The Product; Mercedes Benz Style Edition Garia Golf Car; has its debut at The Open in Scotland on Tuesday the 12th of June, and could become a new product in the Mercedes-Benz Style collection, Anders Lynge says.
FROM SKETCH TO COURSE
It is however, about more than winning a design competition and visualizing a concept car; it is of outmost importance to deliver knowhow, quality and expertise and Mercedes Benz have chosen a great partner here, Garia has many years experience in creating exactly this; a luxurious golf car.
During the last 11 years Garia has established a global network with over 100 distributors and have further more developed new models, that have been approved to be used on public roads. Just recently Garia delivered 101 Garia cars for Jumeirah Hotel Group in Dubai, all with room for 6 people; this production is a spin off of the original golf car.

Mercedes-Benz has been involved in Golfing for many years and this cooperation with Garia is a great addition to the Mercedes-Benz Style concept, that among other things also hold exciting products such as yachts, private jets,apartments and helicopters.
A DECADENT PARTNER ON THE GOF COURSE
The new Mercedes Benz Style Edition Garia Golf Car is a luxurious golf car, that lives up to the expectation that one might have to a exclusive and sporty golf car. This electric golf car offers details such as carbon fiber and leather, a cooling section, glass and bottle holders, a 10,1inch; touch screen with a on-board computer, showing all the essential details such as distance to the current hole, the weather forecast, speed and battery level. Furthermore it can stream sounds and phone calls via Bluetooth.
IT STARTS WITH TWO
Garia starts the collaboration by building two fully functioning golf cars for Mercedes-Benz with very visual Garia-trades. Feedback from the consumers will then help shape the next step in the production, the golf cars will predominantly be sold via digital channel.
