HANK HANEY CHOOSES GARIA AS HIS GOLF CAR

Garia has entered into a relationship with world-famous golf instructor Hank Haney who will integrate the Garia golf car into his professional and personal life.

“The game of golf continues to witness technological advancements, from equipment to course design, and Garia has developed an innovative golf car that incorporates impressive performance and design with luxury features that are as great for use at the course as they are at home,” said Mr. Haney.

Designed through a unique creative collaboration between Garia and Mansory, the world-famous customizer of supercars such as Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin and Bentley, this one-off golf and leisure car embodies the style and quality of its automobile lineage.

Carbon fiber – an ultra-light yet exceptionally strong material normally used in the motor sports and aircraft industries – has been used on body panels on the front apron, side steps and tail apron. The cabin floor is lined with teak tree, while the specially designed headlights, air scoop and fender gills complete this unique and complex transformation.

THE GARIA AWARDED IN THE RED DOT DESIGN AWARD 2011

The Garia Luxury and Leisure Vehicle has been awarded an "Honourable Mention" in the Red Dot Design Award, one of the most renowned international design awards in the world.

Among 4,433 entries from approximately 1,700 companies from 60 countries, The Garia has been awarded with an 'Honourable Mention' in the Red Dot Design Award 2011. The jury of highly respected experts grants this recognition to products with especially refined detail solutions.

"As always, our jury cast a very careful eye over the products submitted. Design quality has asserted itself clearly in the judging process, with genuine and new creative solutions also being rewarded. Both of these criteria are not just yardsticks for good design, but also for the potential for success on the market. This potential is increased several times over by the targeted use of our renowned design award", says Professor Dr. Peter Zec, the initiator of the Red Dot Design Award.

The red dot design award dates back to 1955 and is now the world's largest and most distinguished design competition. It breaks down into the three disciplines ‘red dot award: product design', ‘red dot award: communication design' and ‘red dot award: design concept'.

The Garia at world-renowned motorshow in geneva

Now is the time for one of the most famous and prestigious motorshows in the world, The Geneva International Motorshow. Ranking among the "Top 5 Worldwide" of the most important automobile exhibitions, alongside those in Frankfurt, Tokyo, Paris and Detroit, this year's Geneva show is the 81st of its kind.

Just like last year, Garia will be represented at the show together with Valmet Automotive, the Finnish car manufacturer where The Garia is built. You can visit us at stand number 1245, hall 1.

The Garia exhibited at the show is a street legal version, in Graphite Grey with Cherry sports seats and Chrome wheels.
